holiday highlights

So, I decided to make homemade truffles this year...

Some photos of the process...

Check out http://www.howsweeteats.com/2011/12/gooey-chocolate-coconut-truffles for the coconut truffles I made...truly amazing! The rest I just started making different ganaches, dipping them, then topping them with whatever seemed like it would be good :-)

And, I got a little crafty with the packaging:

The greatest tip ever for what to do when a ganache breaks...make hot chocolate!!! Luckily, it broke only once on me, so I wasn't forced to overload on chocolate ;-)

& lastly, Jules chilling with his Christmas toys :-)

hmmm...

So, doing some listings & have an item I'm stuck on... i.e. can't decide if I may actually want to keep it...
Can't tell if I really like it so, or just Jules enjoys it so... :-)

More Jules just because:

Doing some more clothing again as well...

getting back on track...

Jules modeling/ being a cat.
So...I'm figuring it's time to start blogging again. Hm, last one was almost a year ago. :-)
Well, since then I have moved to the lovely city of Northampton, am currently working at a little cafe & thinking it's finally time to get serious about selling vintage (like really serious). I feel as if I'm the biggest procrastinater in the world & enough is enough. :-)

Lovely antique mirror, available here

The dining room presently (does keep changing :-) )
